- Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground, Branch D, 4118 Boothby Hill Road, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005 will be issuing on a competitive basis, Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for the purpose of supporting the SOUTHCOM Center for Contracting Excellence in Miami, Florida. The services required include commercially available lodging/conference support services such as hotel rooms, main conference rooms, breakout rooms, business centers, technical support, and conference equipment. This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13.105, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the synopsis and an additional written solicitation will be issued as well. The Request for Quotation number is W91CRB-12-T-0007 for this requirement. The applicable NAICS code is 721110 (Hotels 'except Casino Hotels' and Motels). Vendors shall be located within a twenty (20) mile radius of the US SOUTHCOM Headquarters located at 9301 NW 33rd Street, Doral, Florida 33172. It is the Government's intent to issue BPAs to the vendor(s) whose submission provides the best value to the Government. The BPAs will be valid for a period of three (3) years. The issuance of a BPA does not guarantee the vendor a minimum number of, or any orders. The BPA calls will be issued to all agreements holders based on competition. Evaluations and selection for BPA issuance will be based upon the following: (1) Technical (2) Past Performance, and (3) Price. The Request for Quotation can be found on the following website: https://www.fbo.gov Any interested party may inquire in writing to the following Contract Specialist, via email, to elizabeth.m.nordell.civ@mail.mil. Any correspondence relating to this synopsis should have 'Hotel BPA' notated in the subject field. All responses to the Request for Quotation will be received by Elizabeth Nordell, Contract Specialist, 4311 A Boothby Hill Road, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005.
