- Rocky Gorge Trail and Bridge Repairs - Work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, supplies, operations, supervision, transportation, and incidentals necessary to perform the removal of approximately 400 feet of damaged asphalt trail, replacement of trail surfacing, repair of the first overlook, repair of the trail bridge abutment, replacement of boulders and rock walls, repair of damaged trail shoulders and seeding/mulching. Location - this project is located at the Rocky Gorge Scenic Area on the White Mountain National Forest in Carroll County, NH. The Rocky Gorge Scenic Area is located on Road #112 at the entrance to Rocky Gorge Parking Area, approximately eight miles west of Conway, NH. Work is estimated to start around May 15, 2012 and be completed within 45 days. Estimated price range is from $25,000 to $100,000. There is no formal pre-bid meeting scheduled. Interested contractors should visit the site independently. All solicitation materials will be available on this website on or around February 10, 2012. This includes the Request for Quotations package, work specifications, drawings, photos, wage determination, etc. This solicitation is set aside 100% for small businesses.
