- Description
- The 366th Contracting Squadron is seeking potential sources interested in proposing on an anticipated acquisition for labor, equipment and materials to design and construct a Chapel Annex, and demolish the existing Chapel Annex at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho. The Contractor shall supply 35%, 95%, and 100% Professional Engineer (P.E.) stamped drawings and specifications prior to the start of construction. The new Chapel Annex will have an area of approximately 3,200 SF (not including mechanical enclosure and canopies). Demolition of Bldg 2408 (old annex) with an area of 16,000 SF will not be allowed until the new Chapel Annex is approved and occupied. Demolition will likely have high amounts of asbestos concentrated within the floors, wall mud, water pipes, and heating pipes. Estimated asbestos abatement is: 15,000 SF of drywall with asbestos mud, 16,000 SF of asbestos containing floor tile/ mastic, and 3,400 LF of asbestos pipe insulation. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to identify the availability of qualified sources. The anticipated contract type will be Firm Fixed Price with a magnitude between $500,000 to $1,000,000. Work to be performed under the contract will be within the North American Classification System (NAICS) code of 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. If you have the capability and are interested in this acquisition, submit a detailed capability statement which, at a minimum, identifies: 1. Relevant past performance with design-build work completed in the past three years, to include dollar value. 2. Bonding limits of your firm. 3. Point of contact including phone number, physical address and e-mail address. 4. Size status and/or SBA certification program of your firm (8(a), small business, service disabled veteran owned small business, women owned small business, HUBZone business, or small disadvantaged business). 5.
