- Notice of Intent to Issue Sole Source Award The Department of the Health and Human Services, Program Support Center (PSC) intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), to Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS), 230 E. Ohio Street, Chicago, IL, to construct twenty-two (22) booths for the NHIN Connect Exhibit for the HIMSS12 Conference and Exhibition February 20-24, 2012 in Las Vegas, NV. The HIMSS is the only source that can order supplies and services to construct booths for the members and participants that will attend annual conference. ONC is a corporate member of the HIMSS and attends the annual conference each year, and all members and participants must enter into an agreement with the HIMSS for the exhibit booths. The attached agreement will authorize the HIMSS to establish twenty-two (22) the booths so ONC will be able to exhibit and demonstrate NHIN CONNECT. Supplies or Services Required: This is a requirement to purchase the services of HIMSS to construct twenty-two (22) booths for the NHIN Connect Exhibit. HIMSS will provide the following: 22 kiosks which will occupied be federal partners labeled with project specific signage, carpeted and equipped with electrical and network connections. Five 25 minute Showcase Theater Presentation times which will be used by the federal parters (DoD, VA, SSA, CDC, FDA, CMS, DoD and VA for VLER) Distribution of up to seven white papers/success stories from the Interoperability Showcase wall of documentation Incorporation of ONC marketing aids such as Use Case flow diagrams and project descriptions into the Interoperability Showcase document distribution. This notice in no way obligates the Government to award any contract.
