Description
FY12 ACADEMIC TRAINING FACILITY AND SUPPRESSION OF ENEMY AIR DEFENSES (SEAD) FACILITY, HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE (HAFB), NEW MEXICO. The proposed procurement is a competitive Small Business Set Aside (SBSA). Only offers from qualified small business concerns (as determined by the Small Business Administration) will be accepted. Offers received from concerns that are not certified by the Small Business Administration shall be considered non responsive and will be rejected. NAICS is 236220/SIC 1542, with a size standard of $33,500,000.00. The magnitude of construction for this project will be between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Bonding will be required for this acquisition. Offerors attention is directed to Section 00100 in the Solicitation for information regarding the tour of the site. Plans will be issued on or about 2 February 2012, with proposals due on or about 15 March 2012. Offerors are advised that this requirement may be delayed, cancelled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, or final award process, and is subject to the availability of funds. Construction Services to be performed under the firm fixed price contract will consist of the design and construction of the following: The FY12 Academic Training Facility is a single story 15,000 SF sprinkler equipped facility consisting of a concrete foundation, splitfaced concrete block over steel frame, and sloped standing seam metal roof along with site improvements. Functional areas include training classrooms, administrative support space, general storage, mechanical, electric equipment and communications, fire protection, utilities, and parking. Project will meet minimum AT/FP requirements per the DoD Unified Facility Criteria. The SEAD Training Facility is a single story 10,010SF sprinkler equipped facility consisting of a concrete foundation, split-faced concrete block over steel frame and sloped standing seam metal roof along with site improvements. Functional areas include classrooms, training laboratories, administrative space, general storage, mechanical, electric equipment and communications, fire protection, utilities, and parking. Project will meet minimum AT/FP requirements per the DoD Unified Facility Criteria. Building will be constructed to JFAN 6/9 standard for security, an intrusion detection system and access control system. THE PROJECT will be advertised as a Request for Proposal. Competitive proposals will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitation package. Evaluation by the Government will result in selection of a firm that represents the best overall value to the Government. Proposed procurement will result in a firm-fixed price contract.
