- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate a sole source order under a Basic Ordering Agreement with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC), Stratford, CT. It is anticipated that this contract action will be a Firm Fixed Price order for the Non-Recurring Engineer (NRE) services necessary to establish MH-60S Dynamic Component life limits using three usage spectrums. The usage spectrums to be evaluated discretely for the component lives are as follows: First using a 100% VERTREP mission, the second using a 100% AMCM mission and the third using a 100% ARMED HELO mission. SAC is the sole manufacturer of the MH-60R/S aircraft and the only company with the necessary data and technical capability to perform this effort for the MH-60 aircraft.
