Description
****This Posting corrects W91WMC-12-S-0002 since the document was inadvertantly not uploaded. This Posting W91WMC-12-S-0002-00 and W91WMC-12-S-0002 are concerning the same request and this posting shall take precedence.**** The Government is interested in obtaining information regarding Small Business concerns to provide support services to the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Information Technology (ACE-IT) Most Efficient Organization (MEO). The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Information Technology (ACE-IT) Most Efficient Organization (MEO) is conducting market research to develop an Acquisition Strategy for continuation of contracted support covering a full spectrum of classified and unclassified information management and technology support services which are under the management and technical control of Army Corps of Engineers - Information Technology (ACE-IT). The support services include functions, services, and tasks associated with IM/IT encompassing: administration and management; automation; communications; information assurance; records management; printing and publications; and visual information. IM/IT support services are directed at supporting USACE locations within the continental United States (CONUS) and the Pacific Ocean Division, Honolulu District, Alaska District, and Puerto Rico which includes more than 1,500 remote Area and Field Offices (many in isolated areas) housed in diverse types of facilities, totaling approximately 41,000+ end-users. Services will include support for two national Data Centers located in Portland, Oregon and Vicksburg, Mississippi respectively, as well as response for Emergency Operations and disaster operations as required. Potential exists for support of OCONUS sites in Europe and Asia, therefore ability to support these sites is of interest. General information describing contract service needs and questions to identify capabilities are attached. This market research does not convey an all or none requirement. Respondents are requested to respond to their abilities to support any or all of the services identified. This Request for Information (RFI) is NOT a Request for Proposals and does not reflect a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award contract/contracts supporting ACE-IT. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with replying to this notice. No Proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. RFI responses shall include: 1) Name and address of responding company, CAGE code, business size and applicable small business sub-categories, company point of contact, telephone number, fax number and email addresses; and 2) capability packages to include responses to the attached questions. All questions shall also be submitted in writing to AcquisitionDataSource@usace.army.mil. Responses are limited to 10 pages in their entirety (excluding the title/cover page) with no less than 1" margins, Times New Roman 12 point font in MS Word or searchable ".pdf" format and shall be submitted electronically to Landers Grant at AcquisitionDataSource@usace.army.mil and reference W91WMC-12-S-0002 in the subject. ACE-IT may choose to host an Industry Day at a later date. If conducted, notification of an Industry Day will be posted through ASFI (www.fbo.gov) under the DoDAAC W91WMC. Responses are due by close of business on January 27, 2012.
