- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE, NOT A REQUEST FOR A PROPOSAL. A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineering Research and Development Center (ERDC), intends to award a contract on a noncompetitive basis to Optiphase, Inc-7652 Haskell Ave, Van Nuys, CA 91406-2005. This action shall be undertaken in accordance/FAR 13.003(g)1 / Noncommercial Item. The Geotechnical and Structural Laboratory (ERDC-GSL) has a requirement to provide equipment and training for Tunnel Detection to ensure assured mobility. Requirements for this procurement include: -CR3 Coherent Rayleigh Interrogator with Windows PC with NI Labview and Matlab -2 Days onsite support - Expedient delivery The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334511 - Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing. The small business size determination is 750 employees. This Notice of Intent is not a request for proposals. Information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
