- Description
- This requirement will be a Sole Source acquisition as the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) has the proprietary rights to the data required to support the F100 engine sustainment. DESCRIPTION: This requirement is for preparation and sustainment of USAF format Technical Orders to support the USAF Models F100-PW-100/220/220E/229 Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) intermediate engines and equipment from Pratt & Whitney Military Engines. Format: TYPE II IETMs. Specific task include: technical writing, illustrating, research (ensuring accuracy, adequacy, compatibility and suitability for Air Force use to maintain technical integrity), analysis of modification data, evaluation of AFTO forms 252 (Publication Change Request), and requirements necessary to develop new technical orders or changes/revised technical orders to support the F100 engines. Period of Performance duration will entail a 1-yr Basic contract year and four 1-yr option years. The approximate date of the solicitation is 8 February 2012 with an approximate response date of 8 March, 2012.
