- January 23, 2012 WorldView Stereo Panchromatic ProductNotice of Intent This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.201, for Full and Open Competition after exclusion of sources and FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The Office of Surface Mining, Western Region, 1999 Broadway, Denver, Colorado, 80202 has a requirement to procure the following item: Statement of Work Scope:This statement of work applies to the acquisition of WorldView-1 satellite imagery by DigitalGlobe for the Office of Surface Mining, Western Region Coordination Center, TIPS Training and Technology Transfer Branch. This imagery is for the MCR Office Red Oak West Mine in OK. WorldView-1 imagery will be used in support of litigation matters. See specifics under the Requirements section for details on the deliverable objectives for the two mine sites. The Government intends to award a sole source contract to:Digital Globe, 1601 Dry Creek Drive, suite 260, Longmont, CO 80503 The Government will consider all responses received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This announcement is not a request for competitive proposals.
