- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to solicit on an unrestricted basis, a Pulsed X-Ray Survey Meter. The Radiological Affairs Support Office (RASO) has indicated the need for a detector capable of properly monitoring the exposure rates and total exposures encountered in a given pulsed radiation field. Complete specifications for this procurement will be included in the solicitation which will be released in February 2012. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334515 with a size standard of 500 employees. NSWCCD intends to negotiate a competitive procurement and award a firm-fixed-price contract. The solicitation will be made available electronically via the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fedbizops.com) and the Navy Electronic Commerce website (www.neco.navy.mil). A hard copy of the solicitation will not be made available. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award.
