- RFQ SOW This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The office of NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service located in Hammond, OR is seeking for a contractor to perform the following tasks: a.) tangle net sampling in lower Columbia River Basin; b.) provide sampling vessel and crew and (3.) fabrication of nets. The entire Solicitation is attached. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business concerns under the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 487210 with a small business size standard of $7.0M. The government intends to issue a firm fixed price contract with period of performance commencing approximately March 12, 2012 through July 1, 2012 with no option period. All interested parties must respond to this announcement within fifteen (15) calendar days of its publication.
