- THIS IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION/REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The US Army Contracting Command - Rock Island is planning an acquisition for Apptricity Maintenance and Support Services for Program Director, Transportation Information Systems (PD TIS). Statement of Need. This requirement is to acquire Apptricity Software Annual Maintenance and Support to support the Transportation Coordinators' Automated Information for Movements System II (TC-AIMS II) commercial supply chain solutions developed by Apptricity Corporation. This system supports Department of Defense (DOD) and Army Missions. The task order will continue the maintenance support services of the commercial software for the TIS system. Apptricity Transportation Management Software automates the processes to manage the transport of materials, transportation requests, approval requests, and notification of transportation. Electronic transaction processing provides enterprise-wide visibility into the transport of materials as shipments are requisitioned, received, loaded, and transported to distributors and end users. Acquisition Strategy. The Government intends to issue a sole-source award to Apptricity Corporation of Irving, Texas for open market items which include software annual maintenance and support for FSC: 7030 Training Servers and Users, Client Devises, and Client Named Users. Award will be made under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A),
