Description
The Mission Contracting Office (MCO) Fort Bragg, North Carolina, has a requirement in support of the Fort Bragg Directorate of Public Works (DPW) to maintain and repair bay doors and hanger doors on Fort Bragg and Army-maintained facilities at Pope Field, Camp Mackall, Simmons Army Airfield, and the Airborne Special Operations Museum (ASOM). The requirement calls for a contractor to furnish labor and necessary equipment and tools to ensure proper maintenance and repair of bay/hanger doors per the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Fort Bragg DPW oversees 335 buildings with approximately 1,350 bay and hanger doors requiring maintenance and repair service. Bay and hanger doors range in size and type of operation to include electric, chain hoist and manual systems. The anticipated period of performance for this requirement will consist of an eleven (11) month (1 November 2011 through 30 September 2012) period with four (4) 1-year option periods. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for this requirement. MCO - Fort Bragg anticipates issuing Request for Quote (RFQ) W91247-11-T-0087 on or about 11 September 2011. The closing date for submission of proposals will be contained in the RFQ. Potential Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the RFQ package and any amendments. The RFQ will also be available at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. No paper copies of the RFP will be mailed and telephone requests will not be honored. All Offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a government contract, http://www.ccr.gov. Failure to register in CCR will make an offeror ineligible for award.
