- PR:0040648857 NSN:4820-01-097-0343 Item Description: Valve, Check This is a cage and part number Small Business Set-Aside acquisition. The approved sources for this item are: Derbyshire Machine & Tool Co (71905) P/N 845-4687541 ASSY F and Fluidyne Corp (9Y957) P/N 845-4687541 ASSY. The total PR quantity is for 21 units with a 75% option. 21 units will be shipped to Tracey, CA. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The solicitation will be available on it issue date of 01/31/12 at http://dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Delivery requested is 230 days. FOB is Destination, inspections and acceptance is Origin. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10U.S.C.2304(c)(1). Approved sources are: Derbyshire Machine & Tool Inc. (71905) and Fluidyne Corp (9Y957).
