Description

The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to Teledyne-Benthos, North Falmouth, MA under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is in accordance with a Statement of Work that describes the refurbishment of Teledyne-Benthos deep sea transponder releases and transceivers to like new or better condition. The proposed contract will cover the refurbishment of the main assemblies for the releases and the transceivers. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price contract for the services delineated above. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
