- OPFOR Performance Work Statement for continuation of services Approved J&A This is not a request for proposal, quotation or information. The purpose of this Special Notice is to synopsize the Government's intent to award a sole source bridge purchase order for the continuation of OPFOR Training Support services described in the attached PWS and as currently under contract under FA4855-09-C-0035 to Akima Infrastrutures. The current contract will expire 31 March 2012. However, the new procurement for OPFOR to include other Ground and Air Training support (FA4855-12-R-0015, SOGATS)will not be awarded until 1 October 2012, leaving a 6-month gap in support coverage. It is in the best interest of the Government to award a bridge purchase order as described in the attached Justification and Approval document. Comments may be directed to the contacts identified herein. Interested parties are encouraged to monitor the follow-on solicitation process, in progress now.
