Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The procurement is not a small business set-aside: any responsible source may submit an offer. Synopsis will be follows. A separate written solicitation M67400-12-T-0012 will be issued as a Request for Quotation on or after 20 January 2012. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-50 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. DPAS Rating is DO-S10. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 811212, and the business size standard is NTE 5.5 million. This procurement constitutes Item 0001 thru 0005. Required Items and Descriptions are as follows: ITEM0001 (BASE YEAR) Semi-annual preventative maintenance services on Pitney Bowes DM1000 mail processor in support of Consolidated Postal System at Bldg 820, Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan 1st March 2012 2nd September 2012 ITEM0002 (OPTION YEAR 1) Semi-annual preventative maintenance services on Pitney Bowes DM1000 mail processor in support of Consolidated Postal System at Bldg 820, Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan 1st March 2013 2nd September 2013 ITEM0003 (OPTION YEAR 2) Semi-annual preventative maintenance services on Pitney Bowes DM1000 mail processor in support of Consolidated Postal System at Bldg 820, Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan 1st March 2014 2nd September 2014 ITEM0004 (OPTION YEAR 3) Semi-annual preventative maintenance services on Pitney Bowes DM1000 mail processor in support of Consolidated Postal System at Bldg 820, Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan 1st March 2015 2nd September 2015 ITEM0005 (OPTION YEAR 4) Semi-annual preventative maintenance services on Pitney Bowes DM1000 mail processor in support of Consolidated Postal System at Bldg 820, Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan 1st March 2016 2nd September 2016 The Government intends to make a single award to the responsible offeror whose offer is the most advantageous to the Government considering price and other factors. The Federal Acquisition Regulation(FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement(DFARS) provisions and clauses listed in the solicitation apply to this acquisition. Responsible Offerors must be active in the Central Contractor Registration in accordance with DFARS252.204-7004 unless you qualify under an exemption. DUNS, TIN and CAGE Code must be written on submitted proposal. Solicitation will be available on or after 20 January 2012. The solicitation(Request for Quotation) when it ™s released, it will be available electronically at the following websites https://www.neco.nevy.mil and/or https://www.fedbizopps.gov/ under solicitation M67400-12-T-0012. Offers can be mailed, faxed, or e-mailed to the Contracting Office, U.S. Marine Corps RCO, MCB Camp S.D. BUTLER, PSC 557 BOX 2000, FPO AP 96379-2000. Offers must be received no later than 17:00 Japan Standard Time of solicitation closing date. The closing date will be notified in the solicitation issued.
