- Solicitation W56HZV-12-R-0182 replaces Solicitation W56HZV-10-R-0508 for the M4 Product Improvement Program (PIP) Replacement Barrel and Front Sight Assembly (Heavy Variant) and the Bolt Assembly. We are changing solicitation numbers due to the fiscal year of solicitation issuance. Offerors are not required to propose on both the Replacement Barrel and Front Sight Assembly (Heavy Variant) and the Bolt Assembly requirements. The Government will award each CLIN/Component independently to the offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the Government. Army Contracting Command - Warren (ACC-WRN) plans to release the solicitation on or around 20 January 2012.
