- Description
- This is a new project for the construction of an ATV trail parallel to Divide Road (NFSR402). The work will consist of, but is not limited to; clearing, grubbing, excavation, embankment, stabilization of tread, installation of drainage structures, furnishing and installation of ATV cattle guards, and furnishing and installation of signs. As the construction season is brief in this area, it is necessary to conduct the site visit of the project area prior to release of the solicitation. This project will consist of one (1) firm fixed price award. A pre-proposal site visit is scheduled for October 13, 2011 at 9 a.m. This site visit is NOT mandatory. All participants must RSVP to Doug Marah by October 11, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. (970-874-6632 or pmarah@fs.fed.us) This project is located in Township 48 North, Range 13 and 14 West of the New Mexico Principal Meridian. Meeting Location: Meet at the Columbine Gravel Pit on the Divide Road at 9:00 a.m. Prospective offerors are encouraged to bring an ATV to expedite touring the project. A secondary pre-proposal meeting in which the Government reviews the contract requirements, specifications, terms, conditions, and provisions will be announced upon issuance of the solicitation. This is a total small business set aside. The Estimated value of this project is less than $100,000.00. The anticipated date for release of the solicitation is on or about February 20, 2012. The solicitation will be posted and available for free download at www.fbo.gov. All Questions pertaining to this solicitation must be submitted in writing to Malinda (Mindy) Jiminez at mrjiminez@fs.fed.us or by facsimile to 970-295-6699. All Offerors shall be registered at the Central Contractor's Registry (CCR) in accordance with FAR 52.204-7 to be considered responsive to this solicitation. All Offerors must be registered in ORCA in accordance with FAR 52.204-8 to be considered responsive to this solicitation. FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds, April 1984: Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
