- This is a notice of intent to award a contract on the basis of other than full and open competition in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity in support of the Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Center will award a contract to Aligned Management Associates (AMA), 793 E. Foothill BLVD Suite A, San Luis Obispo, California 93405-7853 for Conference Registration and Conference support services for the Medicine Meets Virtual Reality (MMVR) 2012 conference held in Newport Beach, California. AMA is the original organizer and sponsor of the MMVR. It is not anticipated that any other source can provide registration and exhibits and exposition services at the MMVR conference. This is not a request for proposal. Interested parties that can meet this requirement may respond with their capabilities to include past performance sponsoring or providing the same or similar services. All responses received will be considered to determine if this requirement may be available for full and open competition. The closing date to receive responses is January 30, 2012 at 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Time. Only complete responses will be considered.
