- This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified Small Business Administration (SBA) certified: 8(a), HubZone and Service Disabled Veteran-Owned firms relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 562111 (Solid Waste Collection). The U.S. Military Academy West Point NY is seeking sources to furnish all supervision, labor, tools, vehicles, materials, quality control, and equipment required to operate and maintain the Solid Waste Transfer Station, organic waste recycling, clean fill landfill and to transport and dispose of sewer sludge and grit for the United States Army Garrison, West Point, County of Orange, New York State. For market research purposes this is a requirements type contract. Interested sources are requested to submit an email delineating qualification, capabilities, and experience for providing these services. Sources must sufficiently demonstrate the capability to perform these services and must provide detailed experience and qualifications in all previous work pertinent to this effort. Please include your business size with your submittal. This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 562111 and the small business size standard is $12.5 M. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to kymberly.aviles@us.army.mil. The information requested must be received no later than 2:00 pm Eastern Standard Time on 3 February 2012. The solicitation is expected to be released on or about 1 March, 2012.
