Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Augusta GA (VISN 7), is issuing a solicitation for Regulated Medical Waste (RMW) pick-up, removal and treatment services for the Charlie Norwood Medical Center, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center, Augusta, Georgia to include Augusta VA Medical Center (Uptown Division), 1 Freedom Way, Augusta, GA 30904; Augusta VA Medical Center (Downtown Division), 800 Balie Street, Augusta, GA 30904; and two Augusta VA Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) located at 9249 Hwy 29, Athens, Ga. 30601 and 951 Millbrook Ave., Aiken, SC 29803. The RFP VA247-12-R-0115 will be advertised as 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside with NAICS code 562211 (Size Standard: $12.5 Million). This solicitation will be advertised and available for bidding on the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about January 26, 2012. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining any and all posted amendments.
