- Department of Labot Wage Determination 2005-2543, Rev. 13 dated June 13, 2011 NOAA Standard Specifications AMC-233-1A, 'Overhaul of Diesel Engines' SSDG #3 Engine Overhaul, dated January 2012 THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is EA133M-RQ-12-0024. This synopsis/solicitation constitutes a RFQ and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-55. The RFQ is set aside for small business. The associated North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 423830, which has a size standard of 100 employees. The U.S. Dept of Commerce, NOAA Ship Thomas Jefferson, 439 West York Street, Norfolk, VA has a requirement for SSDG #3 Engine Overhaul in accordance with the attached Specifications. Reference documents shall be reviewed on board the ship or at the Marine Operations Center - Atlantic, Marine Engineering Branch, 439 W. York Street, Norfolk, VA. Please contact the Port Engineer, Neil Lamartin at (757) 441-6369 or neil.s.lamartin@noaa.gov to make arrangements for viewing. 0001, Provide all labor, equipment and material required for the SSDG #3 Engine Overhaul, 1 Job, $ _______________ The Detail Specifications entitled "SSDG #3 Engine Overhaul" dated January 2012 is hereby incorporated by reference and provided as an attachment to this RFQ. The repairs shall start on date of award and to be completed March 2, 2012. The place of performance shall be at Colanna's Shipyard, 400 East Indian River Road, Norfolk, VA. All work shall be accomplished by an authorized manufacturer's certified technician. Vendor shall submit copies of the technician's certification with their quote. Department of Labor Wage Determination 2005-2543, Rev. 13 dated June 13, 2011 is hereby incorporated. Vendors shall include a completed copy of its representations and certifications at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items (NOV 2011), with its quote.
