Description

The Naval Air Systems Command, Direct Attack Weapons (PMA-201), intends to award a sole source modification to Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, Archbald, PA, for the acquisition of services to repair a quantity of 1,541 defective metal containers that were provided as Government Furnished Equipment on contract N00019-10-C-0092. This repair is needed in order to maintain production and to provide deliveries in accordance with the contract requirements. The Government intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) as cited in FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. Subcontracting opportunities may be available and should be sought with Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, at the following address: Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, 459 Kennedy Drive, Archbald, PA 18403, Attention: Ms. Michelle Brzegowski.
