- PR: AX2F0229AX. The Government proposes to acquire on a firm Fixed Price Contract a quantity of 20 each of a Frame Canopy Aircraft, NSN: 1560-01-587-6233, Part Number: 70000-01200-501 applicable to the BE (UH-60 (Blackhawk), with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA, 17070-5002. This item is restricted to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, Cage Code 78286, because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Production Lead-time without First Article Testing is 20 each due 210 DACA. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standardized Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency.
