- This is a notice of intent to place an order with Altura Communication Solutions on a sole source basis for purchasing telephone switch, phones, and software to allow connection between buildings presently using the Fujitsu 9600 telephone switch. Altura Communication Solutions is the only Fujitsu recognized and authorized reseller and maintainer of the F9600 in North America. Interoperability was jointly developed between Avaya and Altura to allow the Fujitsu/Altura installed base to migrate to newer technology. Purchase of the small Avaya switch to interface with the Fujitsu 9600 will allow telephone support of a remote site while maintaining the current telephone service for the health center. The new switch will allow for migration to newer technology without have to completely upgrade the telephone switch.
