- The Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAVAIRWARCENWPNSDIV) intends to procure and award, on an other than full and open competition basis, a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Delivery Order contract with Archer Technologies International, Incorporated. NAWCWD China Lake intends to award the contract with a three-year basic period of performance with two one-year options. The Government intends to utilize each unit of issue at the basic contract CLIN level with the delivery schedule and exact qty (not to exceed the maximum qty) specified for each Delivery Order. This acquisition will include various components including Universal Wing Activation Tool (UWAT) full assembly, Superbolt full Assembly, individual components for those assemblies, spares, as well as, incidental services required for repairs up to the cost of the current version. These items are for the Joint Services repair and refurbishment of Paveway II and II guided Bomb Units (GBU) Airfoil Group and will support the following weapons systems: GBU-10, GBU-12, GBU-28, and GBU-32. Tasking for the support services with an estimated maximum 2,014 hours over 5 years shall include labor categories utilized for repairs. Archer Technologies is the only firm who can provide the required hardware, spares, and support services mentioned above as they are the only source that can develop and manufactured the required hardware to be acquired under this acquisition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firms believing they can fulfill the requirement of providing the assemblies and individual parts as mentioned above may submit a written response by 3 February 2012, which shall be considered by the agency. The written response shall reference solicitation N68936-12-R-0054 and clearly show the firms capability, background, experience and assets necessary to perform the required work tasks mentioned above without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and delivery of the products. Written responses shall be submitted by email to kristin.ferguson@navy.mil or mailed to Commander, Code 210000D (K. Ferguson), NAVAIRWARCENWPNSDIV, 429 E. Bowen Rd. Mail Stop 4015, China Lake, CA 93555-6108. The RFP will be posted February 2012 and award is anticipated on or about June 2012. See numbered note 22.
