- ****ATTENTION****ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO: Jennifer Weaver, Contracting Officer, email: jennifer.weaver@us.army.mil. No telephone calls will be accepted. PRON: AX2C0037AX; NOUN: Connecting Link, Rig, NSN: 3040-01-117-7362; P/N: 145C3340-11; Quantity: 65 each minimum/195 each maximum; Firm Fixed Price (FFP) three year Basic + 2-100% Option type contract applicable to CH-47 with deliveries to Corpus Christi, TX. Required delivery with First Article Testing is 65 each, 413 Days After Contract Award (DACA) 65 each year until contract completion. The First Article Test Report is due 263 DACA. Required delivery without First Article Testing is 65 each 275 Days After Contract Award (DACA) and 65 each year until contract completion. This is a Critical Safety Item (CSI). This requirement is restricted to Western SKY Industries, LLC DBA Tyee Aircraft (CAGE: 34742); and Boeing Company (CAGE: 77272) because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source require acquisition of the part from the approved source. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. WARNING: THIS ACQUISITION CONTAINS TECHNICAL DATA WHOSE EXPORT IS RESTRICTED BY THE ARMS EXPORT CONTROL ACT (TITLE 22, USC., SEC 2751 ET SEQ) OR THE EXPORT ADMINISTRATION ACT (TITLE 50, USC., APP 2401-2402) EXECUTIVE ORDER 121470. THIS INFORMATION CANNOT BE RELEASED OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE GOVERNMENT. VIOLATIONS OF THESE EXPORT LAWS ARE SUBJECT TO SEVERE CRIMINAL PENALTIES. Q = QUALIFIED PRODUCTS LIST - A LETTER 'Q' UNDER THE QPL COLUMN OF THE SPECIFICATIONS AND STANDARDS SECTION INDICATES THAT A QUALIFIED PRODUCTS LIST (QPL) IS REQUIRED. THE NUMBR OF THE QPL IS THE SAME AS THE SPECIFICATION NUMBER.
