- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (CSS) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2005-55, Effective 03 January 2012 and Defense Federal Regulation Supplement (DFARs), current to DPN 20111120 (Effective 20 December 2011) Edition. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable provisions and clauses which can be accessed in full text at www.farsite.hill.af.mil. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) under Solicitation Number W9124R-12-T-0004, which will result in a firm fixed price contract. This action is being solicited as 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334513 with a size standard of 500 employees. Quotes will be evaluated on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona is requesting quotes for the following: Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001, Quantity of four (4) each 2 Channel Wheel Telemetry System. Salient characteristics for this item are available under Attachment 1. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government Visa payment Card. Offeror shall account for any costs associated with accepting Visa payment. All quotes shall include transportation costs to USAYPG Yuma, Arizona 85365-9498 and be clearly marked with solicitation number W9124R-12-T-0004. Arizona vendors are to include Arizona Privilege Tax. All responding vendors must be actively registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of contract. Information to register in CCR can be found at http://www.ccr.gov/(https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/default.aspx). This RFQ closes on Thursday, 31 January 2012 at 12:00 Noon Mountain Standard Time (MST).
