- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number A12PS00390 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53. The complete text of any provisions and clauses may be accessed in full text at http;//farsite.hill.af.mil. INSTRUCTIONS TO QUOTER: A firm fixed price is anticipated. This announcement will close on 01/22/2012 at 1 P.M. Eastern time. Price per gallon of propane must include all applicable taxes and delivery fees. The quoter may give alternative pricing methods. Example: one firm fixed price for a 12 month period; 12 firm fixed prices for each of the twelve months of the year. The contract Specialist will determine which method is most beneficial to the Government at the time of evaluation. REQUIREMENTS: PROVIDE Propane for Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) facilities located in Crystal Boarding School, Navajo, NM. The agency will require approximately 18,000 gallons of propane. Delivery will be made on a "As Needed" basis from 01/23/2012 to 07/30/2012. Requests for refills will be requested by the school business manager or other authorized employee. 18,000 Gallons at $______?________ per gallon. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Delivery of Propane to the following location(s): State Hwy 134, Navajo, NM. EVALUATION FACTORS: (1) Price (2) Past performance; (3) Locality (locally owned business); (4) Native American Owned Business (that are determined to be Native owned and able to perform the service successfully); (5) Small Business status. The evaluation factors are not listed in order of importance. This is not a Native American Owned business set-aside or a Small business set-aside, but one or both factors may be used to determine the winning quote. All quotes will have to be evaluated for price reasonableness (high or low). On site point of contact is: Denny Ben (contact info provided at later date).
