- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 8), James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, Tampa, FL is currently seeking firms, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Hub zone, 8(A), Woman Owned Small Business OR Small Business with the ability to provide complete Service and Preventive Maintenance for the Gambro Exalis Dialysis Management System. The maintenance agreement shall provide for software support services which include but are not limited to remote desktop access, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, training, interface and report development assistance, and onsite visits and other specialty work. Firms desiring consideration shall email their Capability Statement directly to the Contracting Office referencing the following in the subject field, "Gambro Exalis Dialysis Management System". The Capability Statement must address the following: "Advise how many Gambro certified technicians are employed within your firm; "Remote Troubleshooting: Using the remote Desktop Support above, the customer can call in with an Exalis issue and Gambro will connect to their computer and resolve the issue and train the staff as required. "Remote Preventative Maintenance: Using the remote Desktop Support above, Gambro will provide periodic preventative maintenance of the Exalis software. Examples include database archiving and backup on a regular schedule, bi-weekly or monthly. Inspection/repair of other Exalis components, unused log files. "Remote In-service: Repeat clinical in-service training by telephone for existing staff and new staff. "Telephone Support: Contractor will provide access to telephone support through a customer support number during normal operating hours, and may also provide extended hours telephone support via Exalis technical specialists. "Configuration Assistance: Assistance by remote desktop or telephone for the configuration of Exalis-related settings, including network settings, flow sheet customizations, medications and events, and new modules as necessary. "Developer Assistance: Assist customer to develop functionality as required to provide data export services and/or report development. "Support for special installations including archived database access, virtual PC/server environments, and multiple site operations. "Reduced labor rates for special tasks that are not part of the normal service contract, including on-site visits where required. In addition to the capability statement, please include the following information within the body of the e-mail: Name of firm, Socio-Economic category of the firm (SDVOSB, VOSB, 8A, HUBZONE, WOSB or SMALL BUSINESS), complete address, phone & fax number of contact. Firms desiring consideration must also provide three References for providing the same or similar services within the past three years.
