Description

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Medicare Hearing and Appeals through the Program Support Center, plans to award a 8 month sole source simplified acquisition in accordance with Parts 12 and 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation to City of Miami. The purpose of this acquisition is to provide monthly parking to the Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals, 100 SE 2nd Street, Suite 1700, Miami, Fl 33131. The building has a garage facility that is available to tenants for monthly fee owned and administered only by the City of Miami Parking Authority (MPA. Because City of Miami Parking Authority is the only contract that can provide this staff in the manages the garage for this building. The period of performance will be for 8 months. THE PROPOSED SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION ACTION IS FOR SUPPLIES AND SERVICES FOR WHICH THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO SOLICIT AND NEGOTIATE WITH ONLY ONE SOURCE UNDER AUTHORITY OF FAR 13.105. INTERESTED PERSONS MAY IDENTIFY THEIR INTEREST AND CAPABILITY TO RESPOND TO THE REQUIREMENT OR SUBMIT PROPOSALS WITHIN 10 DAYS AFTER THE DATE OF PUBLICATION OF THE NOTICE. A DETERMINATION BY THE GOVERNMENT NOT TO COMPETE THIS PROPOSED SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITIONS BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT. INFORMATION RECEIVED WILL NORMALLY BE CONSIDERED SOLELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF DETERMINING WHETHER TO CONDUCT A COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT.
