- RFP GS-07P-12-HH-C-0015 Project Title: Backup Electricity Generator Replacement - CBP Turner, Montana Residences Project Location: The Turner, Montana Land Port of Entry north of Turner, Montana at the U.S./Canadian border on Turner Road, State Highway 241. The residences are known locally as units MTIM21 and MTIM22. The two residences are vinyl siding, three bedroom, 1,374 SF, ranch manufactured homes with basements and attached garages. Project Background: U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) operates the Land Port of Entry (LPOE) north of Turner, Montana. There are two U.S. Federal Government owned houses adjacent to this LPOE that are rented by LPOE staff. These houses have one existing automatic standby/backup generator that provides electrical power to the houses in cases of power failure. The existing generator requires significant repairs that would cost more than the generator's residual value. Therefore, this project will include the complete demolition, removal and proper disposal of the existing failed generator and the complete delivery, installation and testing of two new automatic, standby/backup generators - one generator for each house. The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) is a U.S. Federal Government agency that provides supply and building services to other U.S. Federal Government agencies. For this project, the "Customer Agency" is CBP and GSA is the service provider.
