Description
US Army, CERDEC, Command and Control Directorate Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005 Market Survey for Mission Command Enabling Technologies William Myers, Engineer, C2 Cognition Branch, 443-395-0397 The US Army CERDEC, Mission Command Division, is conducting a market survey for vendors that can assist in developing, leveraging, and evaluating C4ISR mission command technologies for rapid transition to the full spectrum force in support of effective joint, coalition, and homeland security/defense operations. Eligible offerors must be able to support and start work at US Army, CERDEC with very short notice and be able to transition into the current workload and projects. The support for this task will be in the areas of software and hardware engineering: research, design, development, testing, documentation, experimentation, and system engineering. Research, Development &Engineering support will cover a variety of technologies and capabilities including but not limited to: Planning, Cognitive / Social Sciences, Information/Knowledge Management, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Collaborative Technologies, Intelligence and Operations (Intel/Ops), C2 for Unmanned Systems, Language Translation and Coalition Interoperability. The contractor must be able to successfully execute requirements in all of the applicable mission command programs to include: Collaborative Battlespace Reasoning and Awareness (COBRA), Tactical Human Integration with Networked Knowledge (THINK), and Unmanned Systems Command and Control for Operations in Urban Terrain (USCOUT). The contract will directly impact urgent requirements for transitioning these mission command technologies to a Program Executive Office for operational deployment. The contractor will provide labor and materials for the technology transition that may require porting software to new operating systems and architectures. The contractor will explore the latest technology capabilities to perform an analysis of mission and task relevant requirements across Soldier functions. The goal of these efforts is to increase situational awareness, improve decision-making, improve communication among coalition forces, and make effective use of combat power. - POC is William Myers, william.k.myers14.civ@mail.mil
