Description
This is a sources sought notice for written information only. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or reimburse the costs incurred by potential offerors in providing the information requested herein. In preparation for an upcoming procurement, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is conducting market research for a contractor to provide support to the Office of Planning, Analysis, and Accountability (OPAA) in their continued implementation of the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) and its various requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR TECHNICAL OR COST PROPOSALS. This is a request for interested potential offerors to submit a brief capability statement demonstrating how they would meet the stated requirements. Submissions shall be limited to no more than two pages. Standard brochures will not be considered as a sufficient response to this notice. Submitted capability statements should include the following: (1) Name of vendor; (2) Contact information (address, telephone, facsimile, e-mail); (3) Technical description of capabilities in meeting the requirement; and (4) Business size and classification (small, large, small-disadvantaged, SBA-certified 8(a), HUBZone, woman-owned, service-disabled veteran, Native American, etc.) At this time, there is no definitive date when the Request for Proposals (RFP), including the Statement of Work, evaluation factors, and submission instructions will be available, but it is expected to be available on or about February 2012 and will be publically posted. It is the responsibility of interested parties to regularly monitor FedBizOpps and EPA websites for updates regarding this requirement. Prospective sources are reminded that award will only be made to a Contractor registered in the Central Contractor Registration database at www.ccr.gov (See FAR Subpart 4.11 at http://www.acquisition.gov/far/index.html for more information.) Detailed information regarding this requirement is provided via a draft copy of the Statement of Work (SOW), attached to this notice. Responses and questions should be submitted electronically to Contracting Officer, Nicole Humphrey, at humphrey.nicole@epa.gov, by the listed response date. The method of competition will be determined once all responses to this notice have been evaluated. Feedback will not be provided regarding individual capabilities statements submitted in response to this notice.
