- The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Science, intends to award an IDIQ multiple award contract to the following four (4) sources: (1) Nuclear Medicine Solutions; (2) iThemba Laboratory; (3) Arronax; and (4) Nordion. This is for a five (5) year contract to support DOE in delivering medical isotopes. DOE?s Istotope Program requires target material for Strontium 82 and Germanium-68 to supplement the production of these isotopes from DOE?s two (2) linear accelerators. The proposed action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with the four(4) sources under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). This is a Notice of Intent and not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available for this requirement. Interested parties should submit a capability statement and pricing information for the requirement within 15 business days of publication of this notice, to be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.
