- The purpose of this amendment is to replace the Sources Sought Document attachment in its entirety and answer industry questions. Industry Questions and Answers follow: Q1: Please define the SWAP parameters for "LOW-SWaP" A1: See addition to Paragraph 2.1.3 for meaning of Low SWaP Q2: 1.0 Section 2, Requirements, item 5, Joint Participation Capability (US & Allies). Part (a) states "Provides tactical wide band networking capability compatible with unified partners networking capability." Request: Can more information be provided on what the unified networking capability entails? A2: The term "unified networking capability" is not contained within the Sources Sought. Q3: 2.0 Section 2, item 5, part (l) states, "Provides encryption devices that are Type I certified." Question: Is the joint participation limited to those countries that can utilize type 1 certified equipment, or is the type 1 capability an option? A3: See modification to paragraph 2.2.5.l "...Provides encryption devices that are certified up to Type I...."
