- PR 0043869237. Request for Proposal SPM4A6-12-R-0451, will be solicited for award of a Definite Quantity, Firm Fixed Priced Contract for NSN 5855-01-380-5102, Eyepiece Assembly, Optical Instrument. NSN is a non commercial, part numbered item and the approved sources are ITT Night Vision/CAGE 13567, P/N 5009545 and L-3 Communications /CAGE 55311, P/N 5009545. Solicitation will be issued on a unrestricted basis utlizing other than full and open competitive procedures. The purchase request quantity is 34,244 Each. A 100% Quantity Option is applicable. Quantity variance is plus/minus 0%. Delivery: FOB Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. Required delivery is 146 DARO. Export Control applies. This is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI) per SAP interrogation on January 10, 2012. The final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of price and past performance. A Small Business Subcontracting plan is required. EEO clearance is not required as the dollar threshold has not been met. Certified Cost or Pricing data is required. Progress Payments are not included as the conditions at FAR 32.501-2(c) have not been met. Synopsis was posted to Federal Business Opportunities on January 17, 2012. The solicitation issue date is February 1, 2012. The closing date is March 2, 2012. The estimated award date is May 31, 2012.
