- Description
- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Installation Contracting Office, Fort Leonard Wood, MO has a requirement for the collection and disposal of all sanitary refuse from Government-owned latrines and septic tanks on Fort Leonard Wood and the Lake of the Ozarks Recreation Area (LORA). The Contractor shall be required to perform cleaning, deodorizing, and winterizing of all latrines, movement of portable latrines, and all functions as specified in the Performance Work Statement (to be provided with the Solicitation upon release). This is a Performance-Based Service that will be awarded as a Requirements ("D" type) contract. Award is anticipated to be for a base year and four (4) option years. The current contract expires 29 February 2012 (pending any necessary extensions). The Contractor that receives the award of the follow-on contract will need to have all applicable equipment readily available for immediate commencement of work. The Performance Work Statement and all applicable documents will be provided when the formal Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued. The anticipated release date of the RFP is on or about 1 February 2012. A solicitation mailing list will not be maintained for this procurement; all solicitation documents will be available electronically. It is the responsibility of the offeror to register for notifications/updates to this procurement via the applicable websites (FedBizOpps and Army Single Face to Industry).
