Description
DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS (VA) DESIRES TO PURCHASE APPROXIMATELY SIX (6) TO FIFTEEN (15) ACRES OF LAND FOR USE AS DISPLACED PARKING IN DALLAS, TX REQUIREMENT: The VA is seeking expressions of interest from fee title property owners, or their duly authorized representatives, to purchase a site, an assemblage of sites, or to obtain a donated site, containing approximately six (6) to fifteen (15) acres of land to be used as displaced parking for the Dallas, TX VAMC. LOCATION: The offered site must be in Dallas, TX within the following area boundaries. North: East Illinois Avenue; West:I-35E; South:I-20; East:I-45. The VA reserves the right to amend the delineated search area and/or site requirements. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST: Brokers and/or agents may represent the site owner, but sites submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence that they are authorized to represent the ownership of the site. Expressions of Interest should include documentation of ownership; current and/or proposed zoning; location map; address; aerial photos; graphic and legal descriptions; existing environmental or other assessments; availability of utilities and services; distance/availability of public transportation, and evidence that the site is outside the 100-year flood plain and contains no wetlands. Sites with existing structures and/or improvements will be considered. Sites with environmental issues that do not have sufficient documentation of complete remediation will not be considered. A market survey of offered properties will be conducted by VA. Interested offerors should submit their sites to Carpenter/Robbins Commercial Real Estate Inc., preferable by email but mail or FAX is acceptable, no later than 5:00 p.m. PST on February 3, 2012.
