- Performance Work Statement for Full Food Service Technical Exhibit for Full Food Service Solicitation Number: FA4800-12-R-0001 Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis: SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY: This is a Sources Sought request for information to be used for market research purposes only. The Government is conducting market research to assist in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy and potential set-asides. The Government is seeking responses from all businesses capable of performing the required services. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE or PROPOSAL. Responses to this announcement are not considered quotes or offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responses will not be used for evaluation in any resultant solicitation for this requirement. The government shall not be held responsible for any costs incurred in response to this sources sought announcement. Participation is strictly voluntary. This notice will close January 24, 2012 at 4:00 PM EST. This is a performance based statement of work for full food services at Fort Eustis, VA as part of Joint Base Langley-Eustis located in Hampton, VA. The scope of services requires the contractor to provide Full Food Services. Provide all resources, except Government Furnished Property (GFP), to perform Full Food Service (FFS) and Contract Cook Support as required in dining facilities listed at Technical Exhibit (TE) B and section C.5.1 of the Perfomance Work Statement (PWS), at Joint Base Langley - Eustis, VA to meet the performance requirements stated in this contract. The service primarily consists of Menu Planning, Receipt and storage of subsistence/account management, food preparation, headcounts/cashiers, food serving, dining room service, administration, food service equipment and utensil cleaning, facility maintenance and sanitation, floor stripping, and cleaning It is the contactor's responsibility to receive, store, handle, process, cook, pack, service and dispose of food at the specified dining locations during the designated time periods set forth in the statement of work, using the facilities and equipment listed in the PWS. At a minimum, contractor must maintain present standard of operation, equipment and menu selection for the food services. The period of performance will be for one year with four (4) one year option periods with a two (2) week phase in period as a Firm Fixed Price contract. See attachments for the Performance Work Statement and Technical Exhibit. All responses should indicate a clear understanding of the above government's minimum requirements and provide the following information: a.
