Description
INDUSTRY DAY Announcement: The Naval Air Systems Command is sponsoring an unclassified Industry Day for an upcoming requirement for the US Navy's Laser Guided Training Round (LGTR) Program production requirement. The event will provide a general overview of PMA-201's LGTR requirements, a forum to ask questions, networking opportunities, and an opportunity to have a one-on-one session with the Government. The Industry Day will take place on the 31 January 2012. The Industry Day is intended to provide a venue for the Government and Industry to exchange information. Attendance at this Industry Day is limited to U.S. firms only due to security limitations as a result of Non-Foreign Space Availability. If industry partners have any questions or comments regarding this requirement, please submit specific questions to Ms. Peggy Belcher no later than 24 January 2012. Please indicate whether the question is either "General" - to be addressed during the Industry Day presentation or "Competition Sensitive" - to be discussed in a one-on-one session. The Industry Day will begin at 08:00 and conclude before 12:00 on 31 January 2012 at DCS Corp Building 1 located at 46641 Corporate Drive, Lexington Park, MD 20653. The complex will be open by 07:30 to accommodate registration verification. Following the Industry Day presentation, the Government will host one-on-one sessions with interested Prime Vendors, along with their anticipated subcontractor team, provided prior coordination with the Government is established. The one-on-one sessions give Prime Vendors a chance to ask specific questions regarding the program that they did not want to share during the presentation. These sessions will be limited to 30 minutes and will be held between 12:30 - 16:00 on 31 Jan. Session times will be randomly assigned and Prime Vendors will be notified of their time slot via email. Industry Day Registration: Pre-Registration is REQUIRED. No general admission will be allowed. This is a no-fee event and seating is limited to three individuals for each company as there is limited seating. Companies are required to email Ms. Peggy Belcher at paijiun.belcher@navy.mil by 15:00 EST, 20 January 2012, the following Pre-Registration information: (1) Company Name, (2) Company Size under NAIC 336419, (3) CAGE Code, (4) Name(s) and Title(s) of employees / representatives attending, (5) purposes of attending (Potential Prime Vendor or looking for Subcontracting Opportunities), and (6) if your company would be interested in participating in one-on-one discussions provided your Capability Statement packages were submitted prior to December 14, 2011 as requested in Sources Sought Notice number N00019-12-P7-ZD035. A confirmation email will be sent upon verification of CAGE Code. Attendee substitution requests may be submitted to the same point of contact by 15:00 EST, 26 January 2012. All questions regarding Industry Day shall be submitted via e-mail to the registration point of contact. IMPORTANT: Attendees will be required to present a CURRENT government issued photo ID (driver's license, military ID, or passport) matching the information provided above upon check-in. Please allow sufficient time for the check-in/verification process. Late registration and "walk-in" requests will not be permitted. Hard copies of the presentation materials will not be provided at the Industry Day. However, the Industry Day presentation, resulting Questions and Answers, and a listing of the Companies who attended will be provided via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website following the event. This announcement is not a contract, a request for proposal, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind on the part of the Government. The Navy will not assume liability for costs incurred by an attendee for travel expenses or marketing efforts; therefore, attendee cost in response to this notice is not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government.
