- REPLACEMENT OF THE EMERGENCY GENERATOR AT THOMASTON DAM, THOMASTON, CONNECTICUT. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE A NEW 60 KW GENERATOR AND RELATED ITEMS TO INCLUDE DRILLED ANCHOR BOLTS, NEW EXHAUST SYSTEM, NEW DAY TANK AND FUEL TRANSFER PUMP, NEW MOTORIZED EXHAUST AIR LOUVER/DAMPERS, NEW GALVANIZED DUCTWORK AND FLEXIBLE CONNECTION AND ASSOCIATED VALVES - The estimated cost of this procurement is between $25,000 and $150,000. This solicitation will be available on or about 01 February 2012 and will be available for downloading by accessing the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov). In order to view this solicitation, prospective contractors are required to self register their firm with Federal Business Opportunities (Go to http://www.fbo.gov and 'register now' under Vendor/Citizens). Amendments, if any, will be available at this Internet site. Registrants are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the registration list. This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 335312 with a Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the New England District.
