- Description
- The Department of the Navy, Military Fleet Support Command intends to award a sole-source indefinite delivery-requirement type contract to Austal, USA, LLC, 1 Dunlap DR, Mobile, AL, in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304@(1 ) as implemented at FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements, to provide field service and shop repair support and parts for Austal Integrated Machinery Control and Ride Control Systems, on the Joint High Speed Vessel (JHSV) Class Ships. The actual work shall be performed onboard vessels and at authorized Austal facilities in the region specified in the delivery order. The government anticipates award of a single contract for a base period of one year, with four (4) one year option periods. The RFQ shall not be set-aside for small business concerns. The estimated issued date for this solicitation is on or about 24 January 2012 with an estimated closing of 24 February 2012. Upon issuance, the solicitation, drawings and all required supporting documentation will be posted and can be found on FEDBIZOPS ( https://www.fbo.gov/)under solicitation number N40442-12-T-2000. All requests must provide Dun & Bradstreet number and Cage Code.
