- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c) (1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Reference Number is W91ZRU-11-T-0004. The 176th Contracting Squadron intends to make an award to Chemring Energetic Devices, Inc 2525 Curtiss St Downers Grove Il 60615 for inspection of Scot Testers. In accordance with (IAW) FAR Part 8.405-6: The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. This notice of intent to award is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms that believe they can provide similar required items must provide supporting evidence to the Contracting Officer that they meet all specifications and can furnish these items. Reference Solicitation W91ZRU-12-T-0005. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation/request for quotation and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation incorporates the following provisions by reference, FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items.
