- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Reserves currently has a requirement for snow removal services in Jane Lew, WV 26378. The Contractor will be required to remove snow and ice from the facility according to the Performance Work Statement (PWS) included in the posted solicitation. The award will be a fixed price contract with an anticipated period of performance from 1-Feb-2012 through 31-Jan-2013 with two, one-year option periods. This acquisition is total small business set-aside. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561790, size standard of $7 Million. Simplified acquisition procedures found at FAR part 13 will be utilized for this requirement. Award shall be made to a single contractor. Offer must include prices for each item listed in order that quotes may be properly evaluated. Failure to do so shall be cause for rejection of the entire offer. The basis of award shall be made to that responsive, responsible contractor whose total aggregate price is low. Prospective Contractors must be verified on Central Contractor Register (CCR) and Online Representations & Certifications Application (ORCA). The solicitation will be posted on 17 January 2012 via Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition to Business Website located at https://acquisition.army.mil. The due date will be stated in the solicitation estimated at 26 JAN 2012, 3PM East Coast Time. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-55. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. No hard copies will be mailed. To be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Internet site, www.ccr.gov, under the appropriate small business category and NAICS and should register on ORCA Internet site https://orca.bpn.gov/.
