- Notice Number: Presolicitation Solicitation Number: FA2521-12-R-0001 PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: This is NOT a request for proposal. This is a synopsis for an 8(a) competitive service acquisition as required by FAR Part 5.2 Vendors shall NOT submit proposals until the Final Solicitation (NO DRAFT MARKS) is posted to this website. The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick AFB, FL announces the anticipated release of the Environmental Support Contract. (ESC III) solicitation which will result in a 5-year fixed price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Contract. The purpose of this contract is to provide environmental, technical and regulatory expertise to assist the 45 CES with interfacing with federal, state, local, and AF agencies for various environmental compliance programs. In addition, the contract provides database management of compliance program tracking and the Geographical Information System. This contract is primarily performed at Cape Canaveral, AFS but also provides support at Patrick AFB. *After release of the Solicitation a Pre-Proposal Conference will be held. Further instructions will be added in Section L (Clause 5352.215-9001) of the Solicitation Document. Solicitation issue date will be late January or early February. The applicable NAICS Code and size standard for this acquisition are 541620/$7M. The solicitation will be an 8(a) Competitive Set-Aside. Contract award will be based on a best value analysis.
