- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) has awarded a cost plus fixed fee, sole source contract for a five year ordering period to The Boeing Company to procure maintenance, manufacturing of parts, instrumentation and engineering support for all models of the F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft. The contract was awarded on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition of Title 10 USC 2304(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, 'Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.' This acquisition satisfies agency requirements critical to the F/A-18 and EA-18G program office. All inquiries should be directed to the Contracting Officer, John R.
