Please note that this is NOT a request for SF330's or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue additional announcements or solicitation documents. The Ann Arbor VA Health Care Center, Ann Arbor, MI, is conducting a market survey for well qualified small businesses (in the following socioeconomic categories: Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8a, and/or Hub Zone) capable of providing the required A/E services outlined below for the VA Medical Center located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Applicable NAICS code 541330 and size standard $4.5 million. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated construction cost of the resulting construction project is between $250,000 through $500,000. All interested parties must have a working office that would provide the professional services within a 120 mile radius of Detroit, Michigan. Responses to this notice shall be submitted in writing (email is acceptable) and received no later than February 7, 2012. No telephone inquires will be accepted. All responses to this notice must identify the social economic category of the respondent, name and address of company, name and phone number of contact person, and the company's DUNS number. Description of work to be performed includes: Project No. 553-12-112 titled "Replace Boiler's Economizers", will include the following items: The Architect/Engineer shall provide design services necessary to furnish: Schematics, Design Development, Construction Documents, Technical Specifications, Construction Period Services, Site Visits, Cost Estimates, As-Built Documentation, and all other related information for Project 553-12-112, Replace Boiler's Economizers, at the VA Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. The A/E shall design a complete construction document package, ready for construction bidding, to replace the economizers for the four steam boilers located in Building 103. The design shall include all work necessary to remove existing economizers, an engineering analysis of available types of new economizers and their impact on existing boilers and exhaust stack, installation of exhaust dampers if required, modifications to access platforms over boilers and phasing of installation work for new economizers.
